Review by R. Lee for Rating: This is quality knife from Victorinox. It is super light (with the alox scaels), but it is sturdy as a rock and the blade seems thicker than comparable size plastic scaled Vic SAKs. It has just the right tools to be useful, and it is so thin you will forget you have it in your pocket until you need it, but it won’t let you down. I have a old-style Soldier model (not the one handed version) and it is excellent, but a little to big to carry for every day use (I live in the city where people sometimes freak out about pocket knives). The Cadet is an excellent replacement, as I feel it is a little smaller and less threatening while maintaining the high level of quality. My Soldier is silver and my Cadet is red, and I must say that while both are really cool and elegant looking, the red is slightly more stylish (in my opinion). This knife is an incredible value for the price in terms of quality, and the combination of light weight and strength is amazing. It’s my new favorite pocket knife to carry.
